Reading progress update: I've read 100%.
I really enjoyed this. The MS is an autistic woman named McCall, who, along with her android sidekick, Scipio, try to figure out who stole a massive quantity of maple syrup from a warehouse. There's also a doggy character named Junkyard.
This is a prequel to the novel, Fractured Stars, and I will likely read that book as well. McCall, Scipio, and Junkyard were all such endearing, likeable characters, that I'd love to find out more about them.
