This was an unexpected treat. I downloaded this nearly two years ago when it was offered for free on Kindle, but never got around to reading it. Then this year's Halloween bingo rolled around, and I realized it would work for the Chilling Children square.
But yeah, it was creepy, intense, funny, and sad. It had really well developed characters that I found it extremely easy to root for.
I picked up the second in the series nearly a year ago when it, too, was offered for free. I'm probably going to replace the book I'd chosen for the American Horror Story square with it.
