Task 3: In centuries gone by, penance would often end up in what might be described as a very extended bad hair day (complete with sackcloth and ashes). Tell us: What’s a bad hair day to you – and what (if anything) do you do about it?

Every day is a bad hair day for me, lol. Seriously, though...my hair is thin, very fine, and practically straight (it has a very slight wave). I can't do a lot with it. It won't hold a curl for more than an hour or two--salon perms have fallen out within a week.  I basically found a style that more or less flatters me and let it do its thing. So, I guess a bad hair day for me is when "doing its thing" looks like I forgot to brush my hair that morning. I don't really do much for it, I guess.
