For some reason, I just didn't connect with this book. I don't know, why. The mystery was well done, I thought. The characters--at last Tom and Nora--were engaging, Nora especially. I did feel it was a little overly descriptive at times, but that didn't really bother me. So, I'm stymied as to why it was so easy for me to put this down repeatedly and move on to other things.
Also, I was a little aggravated that there was a situation in Nora's personal life that wasn't resolved by the end of the book. I'm assuming that story line carries over into later novels in the series, but I'm unsure if I'll be continuing on.
