Remember a couple weeks ago when I posted about being in a bit of a reading rut?
I mentioned that I was having some (likely age related) issues seeing small print. Well, I went on Wednesday and had an eye exam, and I found out that my distance vision in my right eye is perfect and I have a slight astigmatism in my left eye that doesn't really affect anything.
Now, as for my nearer (reading distance) vision, he said that I am right on track as far as my vision degenerating, for a person my age. (I'm 41, btw) He said I didn't need prescription glasses at the current time, and told me to go to the store and buy some readers--the ones in the 1.0 - 1.25 range. So, I did that, and I can read once again! WOO-HOO!!!
